Due to the trajectory of circular vibrating screen is similar to the circular, hence it is referred to as circular vibrating screen. It is a sort of a advanced and efficient vibrating screen designed with several.Circular vibration screen adopts tube type eccentric shaft exciter and eccentric block to adjust the amplitude.
The advantages of circular screens are long material sieving length, various and complete specification, reliable structure, strong exciting force, high sieving efficiency, low noise, solid and durable, easy maintenance, safe operation etc.
The amplitude of circular vibrating sieve is adjusted by eccentric shaft or eccentric block. The vibrator, which is driven by motor, is installed on the side plate of the screen box. Eccentric disc set up on the axle will generates centrifugal inertia force, forcing the screen box to move in circle motion.
The proper configuration of the round tumbler vibrating screen depends on following information:
1. Name of material: ____
2. Bulk density:____ t/m3
3. Feeding capacity: ___t/ h
4. Screen layer number: ____ layers
5. Screen mesh size for each layer: ____mm ____ mm ____ mm
6. Voltage:__V__HZ 3 PH
Circular Vibrating Screen Maintenance
Vibration Source Inspection: Regularly check the vibration motor (the core drive part) for abnormal noise, overheating, or loose bolts. Tighten the motor’s base fasteners monthly—looseness can cause uneven vibration and damage components. Inspect the motor’s bearings every 3–6 months; replace worn bearings promptly and add lubricating grease as per the manufacturer’s specifications to reduce friction.
Screen Mesh Care: Check the screen mesh for tears, holes, or excessive wear weekly, especially in high-impact areas. Tighten loose screen clamps immediately to prevent material leakage or mesh displacement. Replace damaged screen meshes in time—using a worn mesh reduces screening efficiency and may cause larger particles to block the equipment. Clean residual material on the mesh surface after each shift to avoid clogging.
Frame & Support Maintenance: Inspect the screen frame for cracks, deformation, or loose welds monthly. Repair small cracks with welding promptly; replace severely deformed frames to ensure stable operation. Check the rubber springs (or shock absorbers) for aging, hardening, or breakage—replace worn springs in pairs to maintain balanced vibration and reduce impact on the base.
Safety & Routine Checks: Test the emergency stop button and overload protection device monthly to ensure they work reliably. Before each startup, confirm no personnel or debris are near the screen. After shutdown, clean the equipment’s outer shell and surrounding area to prevent dust accumulation from affecting heat dissipation or component performance.
