The bucket is filled with material with either flow through or draw out method.
The motor will pull the bucket up to the head section through the head drum.
The material will be thrown out and discharged due to the centrifugal force, then goes back below to be filled with materials again.
TD bucket elevator has the remarkable advantages of large transportation capacity, moderate lifting height ,stable and reliable operation, long service life,it is suitable for conveying powder, granular and non abrasive or grinding material, since , the conveying material temperature is not more than 60 Celsius degree due to belt traction component, however,if adopts heat resistant rubber belt, the temperature should not exceed 200 Celsius degree. Generally speaking, the lifting height of ordinary belt bucket elevator can not exceed 20 meters, while the steel cord belt bucket elevator conveyor can reach up to 80 meters.

Grain Bucket Elevator Maintenance
Regular and thorough maintenance of grain bucket elevators is critical for ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and longevity in grain handling facilities.
Key maintenance practices include frequent visual inspections of buckets, belts, and pulleys for signs of wear, cracking, or misalignment. Belts should be checked for proper tension and tracking to prevent slippage or damage.
All bearings and drive components require periodic lubrication according to the manufacturer’s specifications to reduce friction and prevent overheating. It is also essential to keep the elevator legs clean and free of grain dust and debris accumulation, which poses both a fire hazard and a risk to equipment function.
Additionally, monitoring the elevator’s operation for unusual noises or vibrations can help detect issues early, preventing costly downtime and catastrophic failures. Implementing a scheduled maintenance program that includes cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and part replacement is the best strategy to maintain consistent performance and ensure a safe working environment.
