The Light Duty Rice Scraper Chain Conveyor is a QMS-type enclosed grain conveyor designed for the continuous handling of rice and similar bulk grain materials. It uses a moving scraper chain to transport material through a closed trough, making it suitable for grain processing, storage and silo conveying systems.
Compared with an ordinary buried scraper conveyor, the QMS grain conveyor uses a relatively thinner casing structure. This reduces the overall equipment weight while maintaining the enclosed conveying arrangement required for rice and grain handling.
The conveyor can be used for rice, wheat, soybeans, flour and other suitable grain materials. Multiple feeding and discharge points can be arranged along the conveyor according to the production process, allowing one conveyor to connect different storage or processing positions.
Available models include QMS20, QMS25 and QMS32, with effective working areas of 200 × 200 mm, 250 × 250 mm and 320 × 320 mm. The conveyor length and inlet or outlet arrangement can be configured according to project requirements.
The scraper chain and conveyed material operate inside a closed casing. This structure helps limit material spillage and dust dispersion around the conveying line, supporting cleaner grain handling conditions.
The QMS design uses a lighter casing than an ordinary buried scraper conveyor. It is intended for grain materials that do not require the heavier structure used for dense or highly demanding industrial bulk materials.
The available models provide three effective working areas:
QMS20: 200 × 200 mm
QMS25: 250 × 250 mm
QMS32: 320 × 320 mm
These model options allow the conveyor size to be selected according to the required capacity and available installation space.
The listed QMS models use a roller chain with a T-type scraper. The scraper moves the grain continuously through the enclosed trough.
The conveyor can be configured with more than one loading or discharge position. This makes it suitable for transferring grain between multiple silos, storage bins or processing stages.
A screw take-up device is used to maintain suitable chain tension. Correct tensioning helps reduce the risk of the scraper chain becoming loose or leaving its normal running position.
Side and bottom wear-resistant steel liners can be selected where additional protection is required for the conveyor trough.
The conveying length can be configured according to the project layout, selected model, material characteristics and required conveying capacity.

The conveyor is designed for rice and other grain materials, including wheat, soybeans and flour. Its enclosed scraper conveying method provides continuous material transfer between storage and processing equipment.
The closed casing helps keep conveyed grain inside the conveyor and limits the release of dust into the surrounding work area.
Compared with an ordinary buried scraper conveyor, the QMS-type casing is relatively thin and lightweight. This can reduce the overall machine weight and support more economical grain conveying projects.
The enclosed trough provides useful conveying capacity within a relatively compact installation space, making the equipment suitable for grain plants where floor or structural space is limited.
The Light Duty Rice Scraper Chain Conveyor can operate independently or be connected with silos, elevators and other processing equipment. Multiple feeding and discharge points can also be arranged along one conveying line.
The screw take-up device allows the scraper chain tension to be adjusted as required, helping maintain stable chain operation.
Three QMS model sizes and several chain-speed options are available. Buyers can select the equipment according to material bulk density, required capacity and conveying distance rather than using one fixed configuration.
Conveyor length and feeding or discharge positions can be determined according to the actual plant layout and grain handling process.

Selection Note: Material bulk density, moisture content, flowability, stickiness, required capacity and conveying distance should be confirmed before equipment selection. No fixed moisture-content limit is currently provided.
Provide the specific material name, such as rice, wheat, soybean or flour. Material characteristics should be confirmed before selecting the conveyor because flowability, bulk density and moisture condition can affect equipment operation.
The required throughput is one of the main factors for selecting QMS20, QMS25 or QMS32. The technical table provides capacities at bulk densities of 0.5 t/m³ and 0.75 t/m³ under different chain speeds.
The actual bulk density of the rice or grain should be provided instead of selecting the conveyor only by material name.
Provide the horizontal conveying distance and total equipment length. The allowable length varies according to the model and material bulk density, so the project distance should be checked against the technical table.
Specify the number and locations of the required inlets and outlets. Multiple feeding or discharge points can be arranged, but their positions should match the silo layout and downstream processing flow.
The scraper spacing should match the trough width and chain pitch. Under normal conditions, the scraper spacing is usually equal to the chain pitch.
Excessive scraper spacing may cause relative sliding between material layers and increase energy consumption. Spacing that is too small increases the weight of the traction components and can also increase power consumption.
Provide the conveyor layout, available space, inlet height, outlet height and connection dimensions. This information is required to determine the overall length and interface arrangement.
Where the conveyed grain or mixed material creates increased wear, suitable side or bottom wear-resistant liners should be considered during equipment selection.
It is intended for rice and similar grain materials. The official grain conveyor range also lists wheat, soybeans and flour as suitable materials. Final selection should consider the actual bulk density, flowability and moisture condition of the material.
The QMS grain scraper conveyor uses a relatively thinner casing than an ordinary buried scraper conveyor. This reduces the overall machine weight and makes it a more economical configuration for grain conveying applications that do not require a heavy industrial casing.
The listed models are QMS20, QMS25 and QMS32. Their effective working areas are 200 × 200 mm, 250 × 250 mm and 320 × 320 mm respectively. Model selection depends mainly on required capacity, bulk density and conveying distance.
Yes. Multiple loading and unloading points can be arranged along the conveyor. The required number and positions should be provided during selection so that they can be coordinated with the silos and processing equipment.
Yes. The scraper chain and material operate inside an enclosed trough. This helps reduce grain spillage and dust dispersion compared with an open conveying arrangement.
