Working Principle

Sand Washing Production Line Dewatering Vibrating Screen

The Sand Washing Production Line Dewatering Vibrating Screen uses a dual-motor self-synchronization system to generate linear reciprocating vibration. When the two motors rotate in opposite directions, the horizontal vibration forces offset each other, while the effective vibration force is transmitted to the screen body and screen surface.

Wet sand enters the feed end of the dewatering screen. Free water drains rapidly through the screen openings, while the vibrating motion moves the solid material forward along the screen deck.

As material accumulates near the feed section, it forms a material bed that assists the solid-liquid separation process. The upward movement of the solids increases their retention time on the screen surface, allowing additional water to pass through before the dewatered sand reaches the discharge end.

The equipment consists mainly of the screen box, screen media, vibration exciter, supporting system and motor. Its linear vibration and inclined screening arrangement are designed to support continuous sand dewatering in washing production lines.


Product Description

The Sand Washing Production Line Dewatering Vibrating Screen is a ZSM-series solid-liquid separation machine designed to remove excess water from washed sand and other suitable wet granular materials.

It is commonly positioned after sand washing equipment. Wet material discharged from the washing stage enters the vibrating screen, where water passes through the screen surface and the retained solids move toward the outlet.

By reducing free water in the washed material, the dewatering vibrating screen helps prepare the sand for subsequent conveying, stockpiling or further processing. It also helps prevent excessive water from entering downstream conveyors and storage areas.
